SRE Engineer
We seek a highly motivated and responsible SRE Engineer to join our team at Hyperskill.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership of ensuring the reliability and stability of our systems, with a strong focus on proactive problem-solving and prevention;
  • Work on key tasks, including selecting and configuring a log aggregation system, improving monitoring, setting up alerts and dashboards, migrating services to k8s, evaluating and optimizing infrastructure costs, migrating databases to Azure, and enhancing the deployment process;
  • Work independently and autonomously, taking full ownership of assigned responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar position of SRE / DevOps engineer;
  • Experience with k8s in a production environment and the ability to independently write manifests and manage clusters;
  • Experience in configuring CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, TeamCity, etc.;
  • Proficiency in setting up and optimizing MariaDB/MySQL databases to improve performance and reliability;
  • Strong incident resolution experience with the ability to handle errors and contingencies effectively;
  • Experience in Python development would be a plus.
