Financial Specialist
We're a thriving startup, driven by a team of passionate experts, dedicated to advancing the world of tech education. Our finance team currently consists of 2 members, and we're on the lookout for an additional financial specialist to join us. As our Financial Specialist, you will play a crucial role in handling daily financial operations, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and maintaining accurate financial reports.

    Primary Responsibilities:
    • Manage day-to-day financial operations, including reconciling accounts, handling receipts, overseeing banking transactions, and providing financial guidance to our team members;
    • Take charge of monthly payroll calculations, compensation assessments, and maintaining accurate salary records;
    • Perform monthly accounting tasks for a US-based company utilizing Quickbooks;
    • Assist in preparing tax reports and VAT/Sales tax reports in different jurisdictions;
    • Assist in preparing financial reports for management accounting;
    • Assist in opening new bank accounts for the company.
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting;
    • 2+ years of hands-on experience in end-to-end accounting and finance;
    • Knowledge of accounting software;
    • Proficiency in English (at least B2 level);
    • Attention to detail, independent work style, and excellent communication skills.
    Nice to have:
    • Experience in using Quickbooks;
    • Experience in preparing annual financial statements;
    • Experience in submitting tax reports and VAT reports;
    • Experience in working remotely in an IT company.
