Data Science Editor
Educational project Hyperskill is looking for editor who can review and edit descriptions of the data science educational projects to ensure they are smooth, well-structured, and sufficient. The goal is to make the information 100% clear and engaging.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Consulting authors on how to organize information;
- Providing authors with feedback on project descriptions;
- Making final edits if needed;
- Making a list of prerequisites for a project from both our knowledge base and external resources.
We are waiting for those who:
- Has excellent written command of English;
- Has educational content-related experience — you know how to structure new information and make learning exciting and engaging, not overwhelming;
- Has critical thinking — you question statements and consult different sources of information;
- Has practical experience with basic Python modules for data science (pandas, NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn);
- Has basic knowledge of machine learning and data analysis from both theoretical and practical points of view;
- Pays attention to detail;
- Knows how to provide constructive feedback in a team-friendly manner.
